Hoardings have covered the three units which will make up the store - as well as Victoria’s Secret, its sister brand Victoria’s Secret PINK will be opening alongside it - while workers have busied themselves for the past 13 weeks to get it ready for the big opening.
The US-based lingerie emporium is the most-requested store that shoppers have wanted to see in Liverpool ONE since it opened in 2008.
The team at Liverpool ONE have also spent 300 hours getting ready for Victoria’s first day in the city, one where 80, 000 people are expected to pass through the complex during opening hours.

Staff worked through the night to ensure everything was ready for the big opening day. Seven tonnes of cardboard, almost the same weight as the Liver Birds, have been used to ship in products from the range from across the globe.
Victoria’s Secret was founded in San Francisco, California, in 1977. Co-founder Roy Raymond wanted to open a store where men would feel comfortable buying lingerie for their wives.

The name Victoria does not refer to any specific person, it was selected due to its associations with the more discreet Victorian era. The ‘Secret’ part of the name refers to what is hidden beneath the wearer’s clothes.
US lingerie giant Victoria’s Secret have designed some amazing sets over the years in addition to the collections to buy in store, it hosts annual multi-million dollar Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show spectacle with one catwalk feature in particular that gets ladies excited... the Fantasy Bra.
The Fantasy Bra is the show-stopper, the bejewelled creation every Angel wants the honour of wearing, and has been every year since supermodel Claudia Schiffer wore the Million Dollar Miracle Bra (worth a cool $1million obviously) in 1996. Read more HERE about these dazzling Fantasy Bras.
